Course Overview
Design Methodology plays a critical role in creating valuable products, technologies, and services that align with customer and stakeholder needs. The approach in this course combines design thinking, opportunity discovery, and physical engineering design processes. This holistic approach connects what entrepreneurs, business development specialists, and marketing personnel learn from the marketplace with sound design approaches to innovating and creating minimally viable prototypes to meet those demands. Students also get fundamentals of 3D design software experience (Fusion360) and physical prototyping of their projects.
